Treating Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are the result when your skin overstretch. These marks appear on your skin usually after pregnancy or there is a sudden change in your weight. The marks often appear as parallel lines in the belly, butt, and tight. Stretch marks can also cause the hormone. Cortisone is the hormone which responsible for stretch marks. You can treat your stretch marks naturally. Actually, they are not dangerous but some people feel uncomfortable when they have stretch marks.

How To Treat Stretch Marks?

  1. Olive oil

Olive oil is the natural oil that you can use to treat your stretch marks. This oil contains vitamin E. As we know that the vitamin is very good for skin. You can rub olive oil to the stretch marks area. When you apply olive oil to your skin, it will soften. And when your skin is softened, it will expand and then the marks will fade slowly.  You can also mix olive oil with other natural oils such as lavender oil, castor oil, coconut oil, or jojoba oil. You can use this method every single day before bedtime.


  1. Sugar

Use sugar to make a natural scrub. Mix sugar with honey and lemon juice. Sugar is a great natural exfoliant that works great for stretch marks. You can also use almond oil to replace honey. Rub it on the area. You can use this method twice or thrice a week.


  1. Lemon juice

You can try lemon juice only to treat your stretch marks. Rumor has it that lemon juice can reduce the appearance of freckles. So, you can use the juice as a natural bleaching agent. Moreover, lemon juice contains vitamin C which can help your skin to become smoother and brighter. Apply the juice to the affected area and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash with cool water.

Since those three tips are using a natural ingredient, you need to apply these methods consistently.
